Rent Collection Service
Rent Collection Service (which includes out Tenant Find Service) is for Landlords who wish the agent to deal with the collection of the rental, but are happy to undertake routine management.
SurreyLets will find you your tenant and take references via a tenants referencing company. These will include and employment reference, previous Landlord (if applicable), a credit score and an affordability check. SurreyLets will negotiate the terms of the let for you and will provide you with your tenancy agreement. SurreyLets will arrange the move in proceedings and assist you if necessary with arranging your inventory, energy certificate, gas safety and electrical certificates, however you will be responsible for the payment of this directly with the supplier. SurreyLets will collect your first months rental and security deposit from your tenants and arrange for your deposit to be held in accordance with tenancy deposit regulations.
We shall arrange for your tenants to pay SurreyLets the rental each month. We shall, after the deduction of fees, remit your account. Should your tenants not pay, we shall make every effort to contact them and arrange for payment to be made.
As SurreyLets (like every letting agency) cannot personally guarantee your rental, SurreyLets advise all Landlords to take out a Rental Guarantee and Legal Cost insurance policy. We can assist in arranging this for you, please ask for details.
